This webinar will bring an awareness to the range of effects that electronics can/are having on childhood development, education, safety and security and family dynamics. Strategies to extinguish inappropriate usage of devices as well ways to control and utilize technology to re-engage children and families will also be provided.
Tanya O’Daniel LCSW, PIP joined the APAC team in August, 2015 as a part-time Family Support Worker. She obtained her BSW and MSW from the University of Kentucky. Tanya was born and raised in Kentucky but after graduating, she moved to Ohio and founded the Aspen Family Center that provides mental health and educational services to children and families. Tanya has worked as a counselor and director of Aspen Family Center for 14 years. Tanya and her family moved to Alabama in September, 2013 and she continued her work with children and families in the private sector through Aspen Family Center of Alabama. Tanya’s areas of concentration are attachment, foster and adoption dynamics, autistic spectrum disorder, neurofeedback and brain science. Tanya enjoys spending time with her two children and husband. She also loves to cook, adventurous outdoor activities and traveling.
