In this second webinar of a two-part series, participants will take a deeper dive into understanding the intersection of child development and the grieving process. The presenter will provide an overview of how children understand loss across developmental stages. Special attention will be given to the cognitive components that facilitate increasingly-sophisticated understandings of loss. This information will then be applied to think critically about how adults can use developmentally-informed language and strategies to support grieving children.
